Jeddah is known for the sheer number of public artworks made available for all to see and enjoy. The city landscape is dotted with amazing sculptures created by world reknowned artists. The central HQ of the 2009 Art Strike Biennial switched constantly between Alytus Art School, Hotel Dzukija about five minutes walk away, and a bar-cum-restaurant located between these two venues in downtown Alytus. Two-story Twofold House In Bergen, Norway

With views of Norway’s southern fjords and its westernmost archipelago, the twofold house in Bergen in among the best. The house faces south towards the ocean with a facade that bears a balcony cantilevered atop three steel poles. The house is clad in a darkly stained wood that contrasts with the naturally finished wood used between windows. I t’s a beginning. This room, the room that we use as the master bedroom, is a work in process. It was an addition to the original house; I’m not sure when it was added but it has a concrete floor, unlike the rest of the house which is hardwood (in desperate need of sanding and refinishing).
